Full Circle in 2015 – Well Almost…

2015 started in a race track in Santa Anita, CA and ended 12,924 miles later in a vineyard and winery in Paso Robles, CA. – 210 miles short of travelling full circle!

Not at all what we had envisioned for 2015, but then our days are filled with whatever we want them to be. The shortest distance driven in a day was 19 miles; the longest was 567 miles. The total miles driven actually occurred in an 8-month period considering we were parked at 50 Point Conservation in Grimsby, ON for 18 weeks in the spring and summer.

Our 2015 travel snapshot –

We’re thinking that 2016 should be a little slower with stays a little longer so that we don’t simply scratch the local surfaces but get to dig deep – really deep.  So far, plans for 2016 are shaping up to be quite enthusiastic!  There’s a little bit of Mexico, the east coast of Canada including Newfoundland, the Kentucky Derby, Washington in the spring, our 3rd annual Newmar Rally in Pueblo, CO, Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta and Christmas in the Florida Keys and whatever catches our eye in between…

Another 10,000 miles!  We still don’t have this figured out yet – or maybe we do!

We will certainly take you up on your offer if we get there! We’re really hoping to get to Pueblo, CO for the Newmar Rally the end of September – and from there move right into the Balloon Fiesta. I’m tracking my # of allowable days in the USA very closely so it depends on how long we stay in Mexico and how early we head back to Canada this spring. In any case – really appreciate your offer and we’ll be in touch.

We love hearing from you! Comment away...
